In our Zeply review, we will cover your account’s security, accessibility of the platform, how to set up an account and our overall thoughts on the crypto exchange. Our Zeply review cements that accessibility and simplicity are at the heart of all Zeply do. The sign-up process (discussed later in our Zeply review) could not be more straightforward, and the exchange system is a drop-down menu featuring real-time prices. Once your account is verified, users can begin trading currency with ease, selecting where they wish to withdraw from, transfer to, the amount and clicking “exchange”. At the time of writing this Zeply review, Bitcoin is the platform’s only transferable cryptocurrency. Zeply themselves also have a good guide on how to buy cryptocurrency that can also be worthwhile to check out.
Looking to buy Bitcoin instantly? Zeply.com offers you complete management of your funds whilst keeping your private keys secure for you. This means you never have to worry about losing access to your assets, as you could with your own online or hardware wallet.
The “Know Your Customer (KYC)” process aims to ensure fraud cannot be committed against any new account. Providing two forms of identification and a selfie has become a staple across most platforms, and Zeply has opted to use this proven method. Verification is a simple process, and Zeply reviews all documents within 24 hours. To see how easy it is to register with other operators, check out our XTB review as well as our review of ‘is Robinhood safe?‘ to keep well-informed.
Is Zeply the best Bitcoin trading app? Our Zeply review highlights the platform’s theme of less is more; visually, the exchange is very plain. A simple black text on white background runs throughout, making it look very basic but also very easy to read. Any “Sign Up” or “Process” buttons/links are in blue, making them stand out from the rest of the text. Thought has also gone into the general navigation and layout of the site, ensuring the “Sign Up”, “Log In” and “Contact Us” tabs are never more than two clicks away.
Once you are logged in, you can complete nearly all of your activities from your dashboard. This includes the purchase of Bitcoin, which can quickly be completed by selecting the “Buy” tab, selecting a payment method, inputting the amount and then selecting “Buy”. Our Zeply review has highlighted that those looking to trade a range of cryptocurrencies may need to use another platform alongside Zeply.
For those looking to educate themselves on the world of crypto further, our Zeply review uncovered a handy “News” section that is accessible for all. The “News” tab is a blog created by the team covering all things Bitcoin. Although Zeply.com is relatively new, you can already find articles on “BTC Network Fees”, “Spending Bitcoin in the real world” and “9 reasons you should have Bitcoin in your wallet”.
Zeply offers a platform to exchange digital and traditional currency within seconds. Unlike larger platforms such as Huobi, Coinbase or Binance, Zeply.com believes that one size fits all and does not offer a Gold, Platinum or Pro version of your account. Simply sign-up and complete the verification process to receive exact access and fees as the rest of your Zeply peers. Unfortunately, the Zeply app is still in its development stage, so Android and iOS users will need to access their accounts online.
Once you have opened your account, selected a deposit method, had Zeply review and approve, you will then be able to buy, send, receive, exchange and withdraw funds. As with all exchanges, these do come with their own minimum limits, maximum limits and fees.
When you are looking to buy Bitcoin with Zeply.com, the minimum amount you can purchase is £25, there is no maximum amount, and there is also no fee involved. To send money from your Bitcoin wallet, the minimum amount you can send is £10, and again there is no maximum amount or fee involved. To receive money, you have no minimum, no maximum and no fees. To exchange within your Zeply account, the minimum required is £15, there is no upper limit, and no fee involved (Only the exchange rate is applied).
When purchasing Bitcoin, there is a limit of £30k per card (you can have as many cards on your account as you wish) and a daily limit of £10k per card. However, our Zeply review did uncover that the option to buy and withdraw BTC is still unavailable. Thankfully, after discussion with their live chat agents, they have confirmed this will be available in the very near future. When sending Bitcoin, the minimum amount is £10, and when receiving, much like fiat, there is no minimum.
Zeply is a web-based payment platform that can be accessed via app.zeply.com. The platform looks to give you an insight into the future, a future where Bitcoin is a standard form of payment, accessible and usable by all. Bitcoin transactions take, on average, 10 minutes to be completed. Transactions are then verified by miners who are required to solve complex equations. Zeply’s interface is designed to process, send or exchange Bitcoin (BTC) in seconds, removing the usual processing time of your Bitcoin transactions.
As mentioned earlier in our Zeply review, the exchange is currently only accessible online, via your desktop/laptop or mobile device and accommodates transfers between EUR, USD, GBP & BTC. Zeply also hosts its own wallet, allowing you to keep any exchanged funds stored within the platform itself. You can view all of your deposit, withdrawal and transaction history in the “Activities” tab on your dashboard. Read our review of Avatrade – see how Zeply compares.
If you are looking to buy Bitcoin with fiat (EUR, USD or GBP), you will need to add your credit/debit card. Click on the “Cards” tab and “Add a card”. Initially, you will be asked to take a picture of the front and back of your card. Once both sides have been photographed, select “Proceed”. Next, input your first and last name, first six digits of the card, last four digits of the card and your chosen card’s expiry date. Once these details are complete and photos taken, select “Add Card”.
Zeply review all card details and, once verified, you will receive an approval email. This email is confirmation that you are now ready to buy some Bitcoin!
Rather than purchasing BTC from your card, you can transfer BTC from your own online/hardware wallet or an exchange. To create a new Zeply Bitcoin address, you will need to select the “Receive” tab and click on the “+”, this is located to the right of the page. Select “Add new BTC Address” (You can have as many as 3 BTC addresses on the Zeply platform).
You can now use this address manually, following the normal process of copying the address when you withdraw funds, or you can receive BTC via a QR Code. Any assets that have been received will feature on the “Activities” tab (a running account of your transaction history).
If your request is regarding the set-up of your account, funding your account or security of your account, you may wish to have a look through their support section first. This support feature is incredibly user-friendly. Potential problems are categorised into relative subheadings, allowing the user to find a step-by-step guide to fix their query quickly.
What if the Zeply support guide doesn’t answer my query? Thankfully, Zeply review, respond and resolve queries around-the-clock using their live support feature. By visiting the “Support” tab or clicking on the black & white bubble icon in the bottom-right corner, you can open up a live chat with one of their dedicated agents. From our experience using the live support option, agents are very knowledgeable, will respond within minutes, and you are also given the opportunity to leave your own Zeply review at the end of your discussion. Currently, Zeply does not accept incoming calls.
Alongside live chat, Zeply also has the option to contact them directly via email. You can send an email from your own preferred account by emailing support@zeply.com, or you can use their built-in “Contact Us” form.
Although not directly related to Customer Service, Zeply shows a duty of care towards their traders throughout the site and consistently reminds traders on how to be safe with their cryptocurrency. In their terms of use, Zeply advises traders that they should never share any transaction details. This includes sharing their Zeply ID, the transaction hash, recipient address, or e-mail address with anyone unless they can prove they represent Zeply.com.
Zeply is registered in Tallinn, Estonia. Their registration number is 14729704, and they are fully licensed by the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit, under license number FVT00129.
As a UK Zeply.com user, the use of services will be kept in strict accordance with the Zeply Privacy policy as well as all applicable laws and regulations within the United Kingdom. This means any changes to laws, approved content, acceptable conduct, or implementation/removal of taxes within the UK legal system will also be reflected by Zeply.
Although Zeply does not offer any sort of insurance on your account, they do ensure funds are kept either in your name or in the name of Zeply in an independent bank account. They also ensure that they keep segregated records to ensure their own funds and assets are kept separate from clients and can be tracked separately.
Zeply is also careful with the data you provide. As a crypto exchange, they will have access to essential information, card details, contact numbers, proof of residence and other forms of identification. This is predominantly used when Zeply reviews and verifies your account, but they will keep your information on the system for as long as your account stays open with them (unless you change card details, e-mail address etc.).
Zeply wishes to be viewed as “convenient, safe and instant”. Earlier in our Zeply review, we discussed the platform’s ease of use, the speed of its transactions and the level of account security. Following on from this, we feel it is important to discuss the use of two-factor authentication and how to set it up on your Zeply account.Two-factor authentication is a feature utilized by most top platforms and enables its users to add another level of security to their account. On Zeply.com, you have the option to add 2FA via the authenticator app or SMS.
To add 2FA by the authenticator app, click on the “settings” tab, select “security and enable the authenticator app. You will then be asked if you wish to scan the QR code or enter the code manually. Once this has been actioned, you can then input the 6-digit code and select “Enable 2FA”.
To add 2FA by SMS, click on the “settings” tab, select “security” and enable via SMS. You will then receive a 6-digit code via SMS to your previously entered mobile number. A box will appear on the screen asking for SMS verification. Input the 6-digit code and click “Enable 2FA”.
The Zeply trading experience is new to the market, allowing for hassle-free and instantaneous transfers of traditional currencies into Bitcoin. You can have your account set-up and verified in a matter of minutes, exchanging your USD, GBP or EUR into Bitcoin, on a real-time exchange, with full security.
The creation of your Zeply account is as easy as 1, 2,3… 4. In just four simple steps you can be signed up and ready to purchase your first batch of crypto. Before creating your account we always advise doing your due diligence, researching into a platform and checking for any hidden fees and unclear/changeable terms.
Luckily, we’ve done the hard work for you and can confirm that there are no hidden charges with your account (Zeply are fairly transparent with their account holders, allowing full access to terms of use, their privacy policy and information of their license and regulating body). We continued looking through the Zeply terms of use and privacy policy, and were pleasantly surprised with how proactive Zeply are regarding your security and how selective they are with processing and storing any data you provide.
Zeply review and verify your account, so they will need access to your basic information, card details, contact numbers, proof of residence and other forms of identification. However, Zeply does not trade or sell your information to other parties, meaning anything you relay to Zeply stays with Zeply, unless you give them consent to do so.

Although the only tradeable cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, Zeply provides a platform to bring cryptocurrency into the real-world. To be considered as a standard form of payment, Bitcoin needs to shed it’s 10-minute processing times, it needs to be accessible for all, tradeable at the click of a button and withdrawable in fiat, all of which can be done on the Zeply platform. Offering zero fees, full ownership of your assets and no maximum transaction value, we see a very positive future for Zeply.com and are excited to see what future updates could include.
For inexperienced traders and those looking to buy bitcoin only, we see Zeply.com as an exchange that accommodates all of your trading needs and more. You can buy, send and exchange currencies hassle-free with zero fees, feel safe in the knowledge your assets are kept in your name (or in a segregated bank account in Zeply’s name), and you can say goodbye to the usual 10-min processing time of any Bitcoin transaction.
For experienced traders and those looking to trade a range of cryptocurrencies, we recommend using a larger platform alongside Zeply. Earlier in our Zeply review, we discussed the non-existent platform fees and how Zeply has no maximum transaction value. For any level of trading, this must cement Zeply’s position as a real contender to be your new platform of choice when sending, receiving, depositing and withdrawing your assets.
To summarise and bring our Zeply review to a close, we feel Zeply is a reliable and safe exchange that achieves what they have set out to do. Zeply provides security, simplicity and real-time exchange rates for those looking to trade traditional currencies to Bitcoin fast. Our own experience has showcased just how professional and knowledgeable their live support agents are, and the “News” tab is a nice touch for those looking to bolster their understanding of cryptocurrencies.
As with all exchanges, the legitimacy, security, regulations and licensing of an exchange should be checked before setting up your account and joining the world of Bitcoin. Thankfully Zeply are transparent with all aspects of your account, giving you full access to their Terms and Conditions, licensing and their Privacy Policy. We highlight key things you should be aware of in our latest Zeply review.
Zeply is an innovative trading platform aiming to help make Bitcoin a standard form of payment. In our Zeply review, we discuss how easily you can set up your account, the accessibility of the web-based platform and future plans for app development.
Once you have verified your account, and applied two-factor authentication for extra security, you will be able to deposit, withdraw, buy, send and exchange funds between your accounts. Zeply provide you with your own online wallet, which can be deposited into via the payment methods highlighted in our Zeply review.
Trading financial products carries a high risk to your capital, especially trading leverage products such as CFDs. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Between 74-89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
